What a great casting announcement today by the Game of Thrones TV program - they’ve cast veteran actor Ciaran Hinds to play Mance Rayder! Since this is one of the more popular characters, a bigger name certainly means the character would be given more screen time.

This character is certainly intriguing if not for his unique set of morals, then at least for his amazing one liners and willingness to challenge everything he encounters. Even though it is a younger character, a more experienced actor is quite befitting. What do you think of this casting? What is your favorite appearance from his impressive resume? Do you love the Mayor of Casterbridge, the famous period drama, where Ciaran Hinds’ had the title role, or another piece? 

Either way, I am excited and sure most people are. Now I can commence watching this program with more interest!
